Members, leaders call on board to reinstate ousted SCLC president, may ask judge to intervene

They say the national office makes decisions unilaterally and is dishonest about its struggle with finances.

The venerated civil rights organization, co-founded by the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. in 1957, has been plagued by infighting and accusations of financial mismanagement. The group is expected to address the issue publicly on Monday.
